The filing blockade lost its stated premise
Assistant Public Defender Bailey Russell wrote on June 15 that the office had not been reappointed since Allababidi proceeded pro se on October 6, 2025. The email then states that the clerk was incorrect in believing the public defender remained attorney of record.
The same-day pressure point
Later on June 15, a written demand copied the Circuit Clerk and sought correction of the attorney-status lockout. That sequence matters because the public portal later assigned June 15—not June 8, June 18, or June 19—to the generic Correspondence entry.
What the public docket concealed
A reader looking only at the docket row would see “Correspondence.” The row does not explain that the attorney-of-record premise used to block filing had been contradicted in writing, or that the underlying omnibus asserted self-representation and challenged the warrant.
